Bookings must be submitted at least 7 days in advance with a minimum of 5 bike rental days for the Gravel, and MTB Trekking bikes and 7 days minimum for the e-bikes. For reservations, we need the full payment in advance to secure the booking.
We can arrange delivery to your location in Burgos, delivered to your hotel on the day before your journey is due to start (this must be a hotel with 24-hour service – no AIRBNB). We only accept bookings 7 days before the drop-off date in Burgos.
You can also take the option to pick up your bikes in Burgos at one of the MRW premises, see below:
BURGOS: GOOGLE MAPS The bike will be shipped to the MRW store at Nave 127, Calle Vitoria, 272 Complejo Industrial Taglosa, 09007 Burgos.
You can leave your bike in Santiago de Compostela, Please note: you need to schedule a pick-up-.up/drop-off before the weekend so you can pick up the bike on a Friday (The MRW Store is closed on Saturday & Sunday). This means that all the bikes that are to be picked up at MRW depots must be done between Monday and Friday, or delivered to a hotel or accommodation with reception. (not valid Airbnb or similar sites with automatic or self-check-in!)
Deliveries
- Delivery costs €38 per bike to any mainland location in Spain
- Delivery costs €40 per bike to any mainland location in Portugal
- Delivery costs €75 per bike to St. Jean Pied de Port
It is your responsibility to inform your accommodation about the arrival of the bike.
The bikes and other equipment can be delivered to any hotel, be aware that bicycles & equipment are always delivered on the day before the actual start of the booking period; hence the customer in whose name the bicycle is booked must be present at the specified delivery address on the previous day to accept delivery of the bicycle (or authorized person, and sign the delivery docket). If the customer whose name the bicycle is booked cannot be present at the specified delivery address to receive the shipment, their only other option would be to collect the shipment in person at the local courier office. Please be advised that courier offices are closed on Saturday evenings, Sundays, and bank holidays.
Can I rent a bike even though I am not planning to finish in Santiago de Compostela?
Yes, of course. Bikes can be sent or collected bikes from anywhere in mainland Spain or Portugal. For example, if you are thinking about starting out your journey in Porto and finishing it in Lisbon or Faro, your shipping charges will add up to €80 (1 x €40 for delivery plus another €40 for collection).
Example two: if you are thinking about starting your journey in Barcelona and finishing it in Santiago de Compostella, your shipping charges will add up to €76 (1 x €38 for delivery plus another €38 for collection).
